Symptom

In the ALV grid view control, the default settings for displaying data page by page (paging) and the changeability of the relevant service parameter have been adjusted. As a result, up to 500 lines are displayed on a page by default (previously, a maximum of 100), further lines are displayed on the following pages. You can also use the service parameter ~ALVGRIDPAGESIZE to change the value as required, which means that you can set it to a value higher than 500.
When you change this parameter, note that the performance in the browser deteriorates the higher the number of lines. This means that the load time of the page increases and interactive actions in the browser (such as selection, keyboard navigation, and changes to the column size) require a longer processing time.
