HttpControlInterface socket Timeout not taken into account

Symptom
Exception java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
occurs during web service call even when big enough timeout is set programatically to the web service client.

Reason and Prerequisites
Socket timeout set programmatically via HttpControlInterface is not taken into account.
Solution
Upgrade to the latest available SP, but at least:
- 7.10 SP9
- 7.11 SP4

If you open more than six windows from the Enterprise Portal, the system may issue the error message “Session timeout” in one or several windows that you have previously opened.
