Symptom

You use a file secinfo to assign start authorizations for external programs. The system always evaluates the fields USER and PWD as if they were set to the generic specification ‘*’.

Reason and Prerequisites

Reason
This problem is caused by a kernel error.
Prerequisites
The error occurs in all kernel releases that have a patch level lower than the one specified on the “SP Patch Level” tab page.

Solution

Workaround
There is no workaround.
Eliminating the error
The error is corrected as of the kernel patch level specified on the “SP Patch Level” tab page. Import the relevant kernel.
