Symptom

When you apply a patch, the program R3INLPGM in the library R3400 should be replaced automatically. However, this does not occur.

Reason and Prerequisites

The program R3INLPGM in R3400 is not automatically replaced after you apply a patch R3INLPGM or ILE, but only if its internal version has changed. Since the internal version check had an error, this replacement has never occurred previously.
Solution

You must import the patch programs again. You should then apply the current patch R3INLPGM (or ILE in Release 701) again.
The following patch with at least the specified patch level corrects the problem (the specification nn will soon be defined):
SAP Release 640: Patch APYR3KRN patch level nn
SAP Release 700: Patch APYSAP patch level nn
SAP Release 701: Patch APYSAP patch level nn
