Symptom
You want to install an IGS on a Windows Server 2008 / Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system.
The standalone IGS fails to start on this operating system with the event log mesage “MainPath in Registry not found!” eventough the installation reported no errors.

Solution
The issue described above will be fixed by an IGS patch. In section “SP Patch Level” you can find information which patches contain the respective correction. If the information is missing the correction is not shipped yet.
Please install this patch or a newer one.
