Symptom

You have a system with a high usage of the IGS. Due to lots of parallel IGS calls and a limit of parallel RFC threads the response time of IGS is very slow.

Solution

Install the IGS SP mentioned in this note and set the profile parameterigs/listener/rfctoIGS.$(SAPSYSTEMNAME),$(SAPLOCALHOST),sapgw$(SAPSYSTEM),60,60, where is a number between 5 and 20 (4 is IGS default). Refer to note844669for detailed information on IGS profile parameters.
The issue described above will be fixed by an IGS patch. In section “SP Patch Level” you can find information which patches contain the respective correction. If the information is missing the correction is not shipped yet.
