Symptom

You click on one of the counters in the Message Overview, that shows the number of Messages of a certain scenario and in a certain status. A new window opens that should redirect to Message Monitoring to display the single Messages for the selected counter. Instead of loading the correct page, the browser shows an error that the requested page (resp. the requested address) was not found.

Reason and Prerequisites

The host name contains the text “mdt”. Because of a program error, this causes a redirect to a wrong URL.
Solution

The code was improved and the described problem does not occur anymore in the following (and newer) Support Packages:
PI 7.10 SP09PI 7.11 SP03

For older Support Packages, the correction is available as a patch. Please update the following software component of the Adapter Engine to the below patch levels or use newer versions:
PI 7.10 SP06:
