Symptom

In NWA Manage Task application, you have filtered the table which results in only one task instance, then you cancel this task, and remove the filter value and hit enter. The application throws a ContextException

Reason and Prerequisites

You have filtered the table which results in only one task instance and then you cancel this task instance, upon successful cancellation this task instance is removed from table as manage task application has limitations to show canceled tasks. Now when you change the filter value and hit enter manage task application fails to get the new cancelled task
Solution

To correct this problem, apply the patch matching your support package version as listed in the patch table below as per the instructions in the NetWeaver Support Package Stack Guide (for details, refer to note 1301412).
