POWL Select component offers the default set of operators fixed for a particular datatype.

This is an advanced development. Applications shall have a possibility to add/ remove operators at datatype level or at a field level.
Solution

Apply the following manual instructions and then the correction instructions.
1. Enter SE11 in transaction dialog box.
2. Enter POWL_SEARCH_STY in data type field and click on ‘Change’ button.
3. Add the following component in the structure:
Component – OPERATORS
Type Category- Type
Datatype – String
4. Save and activate.
1. Enter SE11 in transaction dialog box.
2. Enter POWL_ATTR_VALUE_TTY in data type field and click on ‘Create’ button.
3. In the pop up that opens up, select the radio button for ‘Table Type’.
4. In the next screen that opens up, enter the following:
Short text: Table type for context attribute values
Line type: WDR_CONTEXT_ATTR_VALUE
5. Save and activate.
