Symptom

This note provides corrections and improvements in SAP liveCache 5.1 LCA Build 20:

General:The performance of the function module /SAPAPO/OM_STOCK_CHANGE has been improved.A correction is provided so that the BookingMode that was transferred by ABAP is checked accordingly when the BucketVectors are deleted.There is an error correction for the LCA routine SIM_SIMSESSION_CONTROL to avoid a short dump with error 2 “Object locked”.There is an error correction for the optimizer download (LCA routine APS_OPT_GET_ACTIVITY_NET/APS_OPT_GET_ACTIVITY_NET2) because the system may ignore certain relevant pegging relationships.Enhancements for the LCA routine APS_ORDER_MODIFY.There is a correction for the problem that occurred in SAP liveCache 5.1 LCA Build 19 in the area of dynamic pegging.Scheduling:There is an error correction so that the dates of dependent, fixed processes are not changed when you delete requests.Available to Promise (ATP):There is an adjustment of the LCA routine APS_READ_VPL_TIMEAXIS so that the forecast time series are also read for the product-location combinations if the ATP time series update is deactivated.Demand Planning:There is a new query to determine fill-rate information. Reason and Prerequisites

This problem is caused by a programming error.
Solution

Import SAP liveCache 5.1 LCA Build 20 patch level 002 and the relevant liveCache kernel 7.7.04.36.
They are available on SAP Service Marketplace. Navigate to the corresponding platform entry as described in Note 753528, and download the installation file LC770436A6020_2-nnnnnnnn.SAR (nnnnnnnn is a platform-dependent identifier). This file contains the SAP liveCache 5.1 LCA build specified above and it also contains the relevant liveCache kernel.

If you use HP IPF, you must read Note 916646 before you perform the installation. Ensure that your liveCache server fulfills the minimum requirements that are mentioned in the note.

To install the file, proceed as described in Note 998966 (”Importing liveCache Version…”).

After you install the liveCache kernel and the LCA Build, simply restart the liveCache. You do not need to initialize the liveCache. Then execute transaction LCA03 in a liveCache-relevant client. This transaction performs a liveCache check that consists of a configuration check and a function check. If the configuration check detects errors, the program stops after the check and helps you to correct the error. Correct the errors (displayed by red traffic lights) and call the transaction again.
