Symptom

The termination described below may occur in the following upgrades or phases:
Upgrades (for example, SCM 4.1 to SCM 5.0 Version SR2) phase_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG of the EHPI import, or
Dictionary activation (for example, W EHP Update 700 EHP2) phase
MAIN_SHDPREPUT/PREACT_UPG:
CREATE_DATA_UNKNOWN_TYPE and short text “CREATE DATA: The specified
type “RSD_T_DTEL” is no valid data type.”
The termination point is in the program RADMASGTC.

Reason and Prerequisites

The reason is that the mass activation program in called in a specific mode in the Xpra phase. This mode is reserved for the activation of BI objects. The system does not check the phase of the upgrade correctly.
