Reason and Prerequisites

Web DynPro Application APPL_SOAP_MANAGEMENT for SOAMANAGER uses parameter WDLIGHTSPEED in its properties settings. The WebDynPro layer introduced the new rendering (lightspeed rendering) which should be used for Web Dynpro applications. If the parameter WDLIGHTSPEED is explicitly set in the application and the value is ‘ ‘ (which is the case in APPL_SOAP_MANAGEMENT), this means that the new rendering is intentionally switched off. In the old rendering there are several features are not supported, so new rendering is the default. For more details see note# 1107662
