Symptom

The personalisation of the property “width” of hierarchical table columns (i.e. the Web Dynpro ABAP View Elements TreeByKeyTableColumn and TreeByNestingTableColumn) doesn’t work.
For instance, it is not possible to change the width of a hierarchical table column or a neighbouring column via drag and drop. Instead, either nothing happens or the neighbouring column and the whole table become wider which may lead to additional horizontal scroll bars.
